Meditation teachers tell us that the real purpose of meditation practice is to 'be' with all those parts in a nonjudgmental way, reclaiming the parts of ourselves we have relegated to the shadows. It is the same for creators. We need all the parts of ourselves to create, and we need courage to love ourselves enough that it can happen.'
